What is meeting facilitation?

A: Facilitation in the ADR context refers to a process in which a neutral third party assists a group to become a more effective unit. When facilitating a meeting, the facilitator’s job is to help the group plan the meeting and then guide and manage the process so that the group meets its objectives. The group retains decision-making power just like the individual retains decision-making power in a mediation.
